Can’t decide between fishing, snorkeling, lobstering, or relaxing at the sandbar? You don’t have to. This private 6-hour Florida Keys adventure aboard our 28' Mako combines some of the best things to do on the water in Marathon into one customizable charter.

One Trip. Four Florida Keys Adventures.

Reef & Wreck Fishing — Fish the reefs and wrecks around Marathon for snapper, grouper, mackerel and other seasonal species.

Lobstering — During Florida lobster season, jump in and try your hand at catching Florida spiny lobster.

Snorkeling — Cool off and explore the clear waters, reefs and marine life surrounding the Middle Keys.

Sandbar — Finish the adventure relaxing in shallow turquoise water at one of Marathon's local sandbars

You Choose How We Spend the 6 Hours

This trip is limited to 6 guest and run on our 28ft Mako. Trips start at $1250 with option to extend.

We also offer a 4-hour daytime trip focused on lobster, with time for Reef & Wreck fishing. The captain will discuss current weather conditions and your group’s goals before the trip so he can plan the best use of your 6 hours. Whether you’d like to spend more time targeting lobster, fishing, or enjoy a combination of both, the trip can be customized around your group.

Everyone doesn't have to love fishing. This is the perfect charter for families and groups where some guests want to fish while others want to snorkel, catch lobster or just enjoy the beautiful Florida Keys water.

This 6-hour adventure is available August through March, giving you the opportunity to experience some of the best fishing, lobstering, snorkeling, and sandbar fun in the Florida Keys.

Lobster gear is provided by Hennessy Sportfishing.
Snorkel gear is not provided, so please bring your own properly fitting mask, snorkel, and fins. Snorkel gear can also be rented from several local dive shops in Marathon before your trip.

Planning Your Adventure - Your captain will contact you 24–48 hours before your trip to go over the game plan for the day. You’ll discuss your group’s interests, how you’d like to divide your time between fishing, lobstering, snorkeling, and the sandbar, along with current weather and water conditions. This helps your captain prepare the boat and gear ahead of time and create the best possible 6-hour adventure for your group.

Can we fish and snorkel on the same charter in Marathon?

Yes. Our 6-hour Mako adventure is designed for groups that want to experience more than just fishing. Your captain can customize the trip to include reef or wreck fishing, snorkeling and a sandbar stop. The 4-hour trip can also combine activities, but the schedule is tighter and may feel a little rushed. Please share your group’s priorities on the booking intake form. Your captain will also reach out before the trip to discuss conditions and create the best plan for your time on the water.

Can we catch lobster during the trip?

During Florida's legal lobster season, lobstering can be incorporated into the trip when conditions and regulations allow.

Do we have to do all four activities?

No. This is a private charter, so the itinerary can be customized around your group. Spend more time fishing, snorkeling, lobstering or relaxing at the sandbar.

Is this trip good for kids?

Yes. This is one of the trips I would specifically market toward families because the variety keeps everyone involved, even if some members of the group aren't serious anglers.
